Mannford High School speech and debate team accompanied by coaches Kathy Elerick and Catherine Blair visited Harvard this February to compete against 5,000 students from across the country. Senior Tyler Cauley took third place in Lincoln-Douglas debate.

Mannford High School and Mannford Middle School participated in STEM day and received the following honors:
Overall MHS 2nd, Algebra I Alice Zhou 1st, Kaylie Sequira 3rd, Geometry Karly White 2nd, Pirates Escape Britney Mace and Emily King 1st, Glider Andrew Watosn 1st.
IEC Essay Winners
MHS juniors were given the opportunity to compete in Indian Electric Cooperative's annual Youth Tour essay contest. Competing against other schools in IEC's service area, they wrote a 500-1000 word essay on the topic "The Balance: The Future of Electric Cooperatives and Distributed Generation of Renewable Energy." Finalists orally presented their essays at an IEC banquet Mar. 23rd. Mannford students receiving top honors were Eva Barnes and Bailey Davenport, winning a week-long all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. and Trey Janz, winning a trip to Youth Leadership Camp near Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Congratulations!
