Counselor’s Corner

Do not let senioritis make decisions for you

It is normal to feel excited, distracted, tired, or ready to move on. The answer is not to stop doing the work that gets you to the finish line.

  • Attend consistently and arrive ready.
  • Check grades and missing work every week.
  • Finish applications, scholarships, and school requirements.
  • Talk to teachers before a problem becomes a crisis.
  • Protect eligibility, opportunities, and your final transcript.
  • Keep commitments to teams, activities, employers, and classmates.

Graduation readiness

Follow official school announcements for local ceremony, rehearsal, checkout, ticket, attire, and arrival instructions.

Graduation Information
  • 1Confirm that your name is spelled correctly in school records and graduation materials.
  • 2Review credits and graduation requirements with the counselor.
  • 3Order and safely store your cap, gown, tassel, and other required items.
  • 4Read every rehearsal and ceremony announcement carefully.
  • 5Complete school-specific checkout steps by the posted deadlines.
